Presentation Day is completely STRESS FREE for parents!

Forget about complicated costume requirements, crafting the perfect ballet bun or getting stage makeup for your little one. You simply turn up at your usual class time and put your child in their costume that will be waiting for them- and that they can keep! On your term 4 fees will be an extra $45.00 it's fantastic value for money. Includes your class, students costume, head piece, medal certificate and a personalized invitation for you to invite 4 guest to your performance

Tots classes will perform just like they do in their regular class but in their special costumes.  Mummy/Daddy & me in their special costume will perform with their special big person dancing alongside of them Dressed all in Black to make a beautiful back drop for our little stars.

Presentation Day will be held during the last class of the year.

Tots class arrive at 9.05am for costumes, Guest arrive at 9.10am for a 9.15 start- finish at 10.00 am

Mummy & Me class arrive at 10.00am for costumes, Guest arrive at 10.05am for a 10.10start- finish at 10.40 am

Tots class arrive at 9.25am for costumes, Guest arrive at 9.30am for a 9.35 start- finish at 10.20 am

Presentation Day

We try to keep it very low key, most performances take place in our regular venue at about the regular time. This means less stress, more happy children, which means more happy parents - who are also happy because the whole affair only costs $45 for Mummy & Me or Tots including medal, costume and admission for 4.

The focus is on YOUR child's success and enjoyment!

Your child's SUCCESS is the number one focus of our Presentation Day. Out of about 10,000 children who have participated in this Kinderballet style Presentation Day over the past few years, we could not name a single child who refused to participate on the day!

This is due to a number of factors:

1. The Presentation Day performance usually takes place in your REGULAR venue. Your child is familiar with this environment.

2. The class is done before a small audience.

3. Our 'Open Days' (at the end of each term) have been getting your child used to performing in front of a small audience. We have been building toward Presentation Day throughout the year!

4. Mum and Dad will only be a few feet away at any time, just in case someone needs a smile of encouragement or a hug. You can't do this in a theatre

5. Low stress. You haven't paid hundreds of dollars and travelled into the city and fought for parking. . The things that usually stress parents - this stress rubs off onto the children. If you don't participate, "That's ok"!

6. Its short! There is only ONE class at a time. The audience does't have to sit through hours of watching other people's kids and your children don't have to wait around to go on stage either.

A safe and familiar enviroment!

Rather than a big performance, on a high stage, with hundreds of children, in a big, unfamiliar theatre, our Presentation Day classes take place in your regular venue. (There are some exceptions to this) Your child will be more confident in a familiar environment, where they will never leave your sight. The children will only a few feet away from the parents at all times, so if the need a smile of encouragement or a hug then you are right there.

It only goes for 30-45 minutes!

It’s hard to keep the little ones happy and engaged for an extended time and don't forget about their even younger siblings who come along for support - that's why we keep it short and because there is only one class performing at a time, you will see you child for the ENTIRE time!

Value for money!

The Presentation Day Fee is only $45 for the Mummy & Me & Tots. That's all you will spend! You don't have to buy tickets, pay for extra rehearsals, photos, expensive concert videos or drive across town to a theatre and then pay for parking. You get to KEEP and brand NEW costume and medal (this is a bit different for Preppies and Level 1). You can expect to pay $300+ at some preschool ballet, end of year concerts!

Take the photos and video that YOU want!

You are welcome to take whatever photos and video you like as long as it is used for non-commercial purposes only. You won't be sold an expensive concert video.

General Questions

Where will my child's Presentation Day class be held?

Presentation Day will be held in your regular venue.

Does the Presentation Day performance involve Christmas or themes relating to Christmas?

No, not this year.


How much does Presentation Day cost?

$45 for all 'Mummy & Me' & 'Tots'

When is payment due for Presentation Day?

The Presentation Day fee is due with you Term 4 fees, you will notice it added to your Term 4 invoice.

How do I pay for Presentation Day?

Please pay the Presentation Day fee with your Term 4 fees, in the usual manner, by the due date.

We are unable or don't want to Presentation Day, do we still have to pay the Presentation Day Fee?

If you are sure that you do not want to (or are unable to), then please let us know as soon as possible - either before you receive your invoice or once you receive it. We will remove the Presentation Day fee from you Term 4 fees.

I initially said I wasn't doing Presentation Day, but I have changed my mind. Can we still do it?

Yes - as long as we will be able to have a costume and medal there for you on the day. In this case an extra $12.95 (or $15.95 if we have to express post) will be added to cover the effort required re-invoicing, taking extra payments, and arranging the distribution of the extra costume and medal.



Is the 'Family Discount' applicable?

Yes it does! Families with more than one child attending Toes 2 Pointe receive 10% off the fees of the second, third... child. The 'first' child is defined as the child with the highest fees. Payments must be paid by the due date for the Family Discount to apply.

What is included for the $45

The Presentation Day fee is all inclusive. There is nothing extra to pay for anything and we will not compel you to buy overpriced concert photos or DVDs. You might like to have a nice new pair of tights and maybe ballet shoes so you look your best - we do sell these but we won't be pushing them, we don't even distribute them to teachers because we want to keep it simple, focus on your child and not on merchandise sales.

What if we miss Presentation Day for some reason?

If you have already paid for Presentation Day, not cancelled before the applicable date and do not attend for some reason then we can post it out for $7 (to cover postage and handling).

What if my child won't, or is unable to participate?

Apart from medical reasons, it is highly unlikely that your child will not want to participate. We recently asked all of our teachers how many children have not got up on the day and no one could remember a single child (out of nearly 10,000). This is due to all of efforts to build up slowly and have it as low key (and low stress) as possible. If you child does not participate then you still get the costume and medal.

Mummy & Me Classes

Does 'Mum' participate in the Mummy & Me Presentation Day class?

Yes, to keep things the same as your regular class and to assist when needed. Having Mum within arm's length at all times makes this a very safe and secure environment for your child to perform at their best!

What should 'Mum' wear for the Presentation Day class?

Try and wear all black, that way you will not stand out and allow the children to take the limelight!

Can Dad participate in the Mummy & Me Presentation Day performance instead of Mum?

Certainly, and it doesn't have to be the person who normally comes to class to assist. If you are planning for someone else to assist on the day then we strongly encourage them to come along to a few classes to get the hang of it, so you can support your child properly on the day!



How do you know the costume will fit?

We purchase costumes in 4 different sizes. We select a style (and quality) of costume which achieves a good fit on children of varying sizes and shapes. We ask all teachers to categorize each of their students so we can allocate costumes of different sizes. We supply extra costumes to allow for surprises. Miss Therese has personally done this successfully for nearly 10,000 students over past 7 years.

When do we get the costume?

You will be given your costume when you arrive at the venue on Presentation Day - all you need to do is put it on. The teacher will have spares just in case there are any issues with the size.

Do we get to keep the costume and medal?

Yes, you sure do!

What if I don't want to keep the costume?

You can never have enough dress-ups! Many students wear their Presentation Day costumes to class throughout the following year. If you really don't want it, you can return it to your teacher or drop it in at our office and we will make sure it is given to someone in need this Christmas - who probably doesn't have any dress-ups. The actual charity to receive the unwanted costumes has not been worked out at this point - we want them to go to children who will enjoy wearing them and not be sold in a shop. If anyone can suggest an appropriate charity we will follow it up.

We won't be able to attend Presentation Day, can we still get a costume and medal?

Yes, you might be able to pick them up from the teacher the week before or we can post them out (please allow $7.95 for postage and handling).

Can I purchase an extra costume and medal?

Most likely, it will depend on what we have left after all of the Presentation Day performances are finished. Please contact our office.

How many people can we bring?

We allow for 4 audience members per student.

Does that include 'Mum' for Mummy & Me classes?

'Mum' in the 'Mummy & Me' class performances is considered a 'performer' so she would not count as an audience member.

What if I bring my baby along, does that count?

Very young children don't count in the total if they will not take up a seat.

Why are only 4 people allowed?

We want to keep the audience small so as not to overwhelm our very young performers. We also want to keep the performance in our regular venue where possible for familiarity.

What if we need to bring more people?

Most likely, please discuss it with the teacher. It will depend on the size of the class, size of the venue (some venues do have maximums which cannot be exceeded), and whether other people from the same class have also requested to bring along extra people. Also remember that we don't want a huge audience - the larger the audience the more overwhelming it will be for the little ones.

Do we need tickets to attend Presentation Day?

No one requires tickets to attend our Presentation Day classes.

What if we have more than one child in the class, can we bring more people along?

We allow for 4 audience members per student, so if you have 2 children participating in the performance then you can bring 8 people.


Can I take photos and/or video during the performance?

You are welcome to take whatever photos and video you like as long as it is used for non-commercial purposes only.

What if I don't want people taking photos and/or video of my child?

In this case is would be best not to participate in Presentation Day.

Should we arrive early?

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your class start time so you can get your child into the costume remember that we will still be running classes consecutively so when the teacher has finished with one class she will start giving you your costume. Please allow plenty of time to get there and to find parking.

Can we pick-up the costume the previous week?

Only if you are not doing Presentation Day and have made arrangements as such.


What should my child wear to come to class on Presentation Day?

Children can arrive in their regular clothes.

What do we need to bring?

Ballet shoes, tights (or socks), camera (or iPads and phones). A new/clean pair of tights will look nice during the performance and in photos.

Do we have to have hair in a ballet bun?

Only if you (and they) want to, we don't require all the children to have their hair the same.

Do we need to get new ballet shoes and tights?

Only if their current shoes and tights are a bit messy looking – it’s totally up to you.



It’s always lovely for you or one of your guest to give the little performer a gift of flowers or something they can keep as a memory of the day. 


We want this to be fun so they enjoy the experience of their Dance concert and keep it as a special memory for the rest of their life
